Department Logo is formed by four capital letters 'J', 'P', 'B' and 'D', arranged to fill four equal parcels symbolize four main land use elements and encircled by words, symbolize a well-planned and dynamic development environment.


The main letter 'J' means ‘Jabatan’ in Malay, black in colour, symbolizes a city, town or village. 'P', 'B' and 'D' are the initials of ‘Perancangan Bandar Desa’. The letters are in green, symbolize planning at the suburbans, rural areas, and villages.


This logo has three colours: black, white and green. Black symbolizes the strength and stability of the Department within country's administration. White symbolizes integrity, harmony, efficience and cleanliness, supported by all officers in the Department. Green symbolizes the role of the Department as the main land use planner in the country.


The white line connects through the letters represents the road network, reflecting the linkage between the four elements of land use. The full green line from the letter ‘P’ to the letter ‘D’ represents a highway flyover reflecting a comprehensive traffic planning.


The phrase ‘Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa’ in a black semi-circle represents the identity of the department and urban physical elements, including buildings and infrastructures.The phrase ‘Negeri Pahang’ in green represents the natural elements consist of flora and fauna, and represents the position of the Department which is State of Pahang's level.Both of the two phrases formed a circle symbolize an ideal urban environment.

Green Point

Two green points between phrase 'Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa' and 'Negeri Pahang' symbolizes a determination towards an effective and precise planning.
